Oil

I'm now burning the midnight oil to study for my test that will be coming soon enough, in 10 hours time. This is the consequences when I don't study regularly. Well, I don't really care about my studies in university either. Getting A's is never my aim in university since that I'm just going campus for four years to get a degree. But, at least I'm still study lar.... although I never like my course. I don't aim A's but I don't want to fail either.

Burning midnight oil is one of my regular activity apart from burning oil in my body. I'm a night owl. =] I really miss swimming but my ears are so sensitive to infection these days. I got infection in my left ear about three weeks ago that cause swelling and pain that I couldn't sleep with my head lying on the left. Now, my ear gets itchy and some unknown liquid keep secreting out. Disgusting huh? This is the thing that preventing myself to swim because I'm afraid the water will get into my ear and things get worse. So, plan B. I'm looking forward for badminton game tonight. Yay~~ Burn oil time!! XD

Burning gas and oil seem so common in Malaysia. We so used to the low price of fossil fuels in our daily life especially in transportation. A family a car or more is the lifestyle here. Thanks to the standardized fuel price throughout Malaysia and poor public transport of course. I knew a Nepali back some times. He told me that his family rather cook with wood than gas although they have a gas stove in their house. Why? The cost is triple higher than in Malaysia. We should appreciate that we are given such gift from the Mother Earth by abandoning the thought that we could use those resources unlimitedly. Maybe we should start to cycle more to nearby places instead of driving or car pool with other people. Time to Go Green people, save the Earth, save your money. =]

Darkness

People always relate darkness as fear, anger, cruelty, hopeless and all the negative emotions. How can we shine some light into our mind? My friend and I talked about god in our conversation just now. I guess he would be seeking his peace of mind through praying. Whereby I will get a good sleep to calm myself down and think things through later. Different people will have different ways to invite sunshine into their lives, but some may lost in their dilemma. I know a girl who can't live without boyfriend and she would be very emo if she don't have one. Come on lar... Its your life, so are you gonna depend on others to live your life? Find your light, girl~~

My house has been cut off electricity since 11 in the morning. All the members in my house were like hoping stupidly for electricity especially when the dark came after 7pm. No tv, no pc, can't read under the pitiful candle light. Well, special appreciation for my apartment maintenance who initially want to fix an electric cable underground but end up breaking the water pipe. What we did for the past few hours are in the dark, like a blind moving around. In the end, the power supply back to normal at about 12 midnight. To look at the good side, we had participated the earth hour event unintentionally. =] Save the Earth!!!

There is a job that I will never take up ---> politician. In my point of view, politicians are mostly representing the darkest devil of humanity. Greed of money and power, cruelty, selfishness and dishonesty are my labels on the politicians. Well, maybe an exception for some of them. I'm just sick of the lies told after lies by politicians. Quotas are implemented in various field from education to tender for construction to buying properties. What? 1 Malaysia? Its just a sweet slogan unless discrimination is totally eliminated from our country. Politicians, where are your lights?? Fight for the country!

Coincidence

Well, I met a girl 3 days ago… We played badminton and after that, I fetch her back to her hostel along with her three friends. Then, we decided to go ‘pasar malam’. It is on the way to ‘pasar malam’ that my friend and I found out that we were born on the same year, same month, same day and even almost same time!!! Haha… Maybe we are the long lost un-identical twin sister. Who knows~~ XD

The weirdest thing that happens coincidently on me would be my first meet with my hubby. A lot of people asking me how did I met my hubby and get to know him, and I would usually smile at them. It’s a sunny afternoon. I decided to send my car to the car wash. While I was waiting for my car to be cleaned, a guy came to wash his bike and we got hook up. We chit chat all the nonsense but he got the smart point by getting my phone number. =] Then, we went Jonker Street in our first date and things goes nice and sweet and there, we are a couple. Lol…

Addiction

I'm addicted to Facebook. Why? There are many reasons : playing games, socializing, communicating, wasting time... However, most of the time is spent on things that are not important at all. I do read books though, (They are the real books made of pulps, not face-book. LOL..) just that the tick-tock's are lesser. Pathetic huh??

I also have a weird addiction to food. I'm usually eating less compare to other normal people around me. But, once I tried and like a food,  I will eat it always until I get bored of it. (I don't have much care on the calories, and the results are on my tummy and butt size... XD ) Then, finding another food will be my next mission.

Recently, I'm addicted to badminton!! Its a goos news!! Well, everything should have the Yin and Yang. Haha... I gained weight, then I workout. So, my weight would be balance  <--- self comforting.... I played badminton thrice last week, my most games played as far as I could remember.

Students in my university are addicted to answer schemes. Don't sshhhhh... at me. Its an open secret lar... We are so damn good in plagiarism. Most of the students will somehow find their way of getting answer scheme for their tutorials, either from their coursemates, friends, seniors or from their lecturers. This is extremely-seriously-undeniably happen in Mathematics and Physics subjects that are tougher.

On the other hand, Malaysians are addicted to what? Are you thinking, imaging, guessing??  Its subsidies!!! Let's see what are the things that are subsidized by the government : petrol and gas, sugar, cooking oil, rice, flour, bread, ........... and the list goes on. How much is spent on subsidies?? RM 73 billion. That, has awarded us the title of one of the countries with the highest per capita spent on subsidies. Be proud, Malaysia.

Jason Chen - 你不知道的事

Talk

I'm attending a talk in two hours time. It is a four hour talk compulsory for some sort of Malaysian studies. Gosh~~ With the air-cond and cushioned chair, I'm so gonna date with my sleeping worms again... What is the point when you talk about Malaysian studies?? We are Malaysian ourselves. We already know the cultures and all those "pantang-larang" through our daily lives. We are one. (Well, maybe an exception for those fanatic so-called fighter of the ethnic.)

Talkative would be my description of some friends. They are the colours in my life. Whenever I give an idea of a topic, they would expand it to the level that I couldn't reach. XD But somehow, I found that people who are talkative like to hide their true emotions, I meant their negative emotions. Is my assumption right??

English

Flash back. I used to be so dumb in English that I do not even understand what my teacher was talking about in the class when I was in Form 1. The secondary school I entered is in middle of a city where the students are more proud with their family background and their academic achievements. They choose their friends according to their own standards. I have limited friends then. But luckily, my family and I shifted into other place and I got enrolled to another school. This is one of the turning point in my life. I start talking craps in totally broken-rojak English with my friends there. I had build up the confidence in this language that was so aliened to me and the most important things is, I build up long-lasting friendship as well.  =]  I'm not a banana, don't mistaken me. I'm just feel good to use English to express myself in words. (Verbally, I'm still preferred Chinese though...)

Hope

Hope. I didn't get the course I wanted but I still continue my tertiary studies. I have lost all my passion for studies during my secondary school life. I lazy to do my homework, no mood to do revision... I can do anything but the responsibility of a university student. The only thing that make me hanging on for two years until now, is the thin paper degree certificate. Lost hope in government.

Hope. Earthquake in Japan. Disastrous but full with hope. The Japanese is so discipline even after the earthquake. No robbery, no selfishness. Every shop owner were taking their own responsibility by providing food, clothes and shelter. I am really impressed with their attitude to life even when they faced major disaster. They give themselves hope to begin new life.

Hope. HOPE is a charity organisation. They runs free clinic by giving out free medicine and consultation, help the needy people... The hope they have spread leave print on the Cambodian women, AIDS sufferers in Africa, the orphans and any hellish part of the world that you can think of. I like their meaningful slogan, "Bringing hope. Changing lives."

Hope. I couldn't be more grateful for my boyfriend who always supporting me in anyway he can. He used to be at my side whenever I needed him. My mental nerves are kinda weak sometimes and I will start thinking things negatively. He would always be the one who make things the other way round. Although we are not blessed by my parents, but I'm sure they will understand someday. So, I'm hoping.

  Hope.

Sleep

So sleepy... yawn~~ I'm kinda like a sleepy worm under the blanket no matter day or night... My sleeping hours are so irregular that I myself do not know when is the next sleeping time. Well, thats my life in campus. I enjoy being an owl, standing tall at night.. My only normal sleeping cycle would be during the semester break. This is the time when I work, which is fixed 10 hours working time that will drain my energy to the end. By the time I set my feet at my home, the things that I do are bath, having dinner, read newspaper and crawl to my bed. And the cycle continues....

Many youngsters nowadays are same as me. Sleep less. We all know that this isn't good for our health, but, we still allow ourselves to get distracted from our pillow and doing nonsense. Is there more people get insomia or what? Or we trained ourselves to get insomia??

Holiday

Haha... I've just came back from my 3 days holiday and drive all the way back to my hell, erm, I meant, hostel in Malacca. As usual, I didn't do anything and left my assignments pilling up like Mount Kinabalu. (Which I never regretted about it...)What you did when you going back Puchong?? If you ask me... Well, one day for me lazying around my house. Eat, sleep, FB, read newspaper and OLD newspaper, watch tv... Things that I do them less in hostel~~ Another day is my working day. OMG, I've just realise that I haven't get my last month's salary!! zzz... the forgetful me... And, the last day is my happy-forever-family day. (even if its boring, I would feel happy too.. =] ) Like the usual, I went back to my maternal grandma house, playing around with the kids there, ate dinner at 5 pm. Yupe, you didn't see it wrong. We had our dinner at 5pm in my grandma house. Its my grandparent's unchangeable habit since they worked as rubber tappers when they are young. They sleep very early too...

Speaking of holidays, I think we, the Malaysians are lucky to have plenty of public holidays through out the year. We have the CNY, the Ramadhan, the Deepavali, Christmas, Awal Muharam, Thaipussam... We can even have a day off when our national football team won a trophy in ... errr... what competition again?? Ahh, I can't remember. I believe most of us are happy to have holidays either for the reason of having a good rest or getting double / triple pay. If one day the government announce that we could have a holiday for Lee Chong Wei / Nicol David winning cups for Malaysia, I dare to say that those who oppose it will surely get jeers from the Malaysians 'si beh kao kao lat'~~~~ XD

Rabbits.

Oh, I've just talked about rabbit with a friend. Haha... I've even teased him that he is the rabbit in the moon. According to the Chinese legend, there's a rabbit stays in the moon which always felt lonely. The only companion will be a nice lady a few thousand years ago who had swollen some sort of don't-know-what kind of medicine  and flew to the moon. Well, my friend there is happy to be called a rabbit since he will have 'leng lui' with him. I would say that he will be living with a thousands years old mummy, if I wanna put it in a 'nicer' way. XD

Another rabbit story in my house. My sister rares rabbits as her pet. (attention to my word 'rabbitS', so its more than one rabbit) Rabbits seem cute at first. They are the bred of 'lion head' with long and smooth fur. But then, they turned out to be the annoying rabbits due to their urine smell, damaging the house furniture as they like to bite things to grind their never ended growing teeth, shit everwhere... and the worst thing is their breeding ability. So, imagine the annoying level times double, triple, infinity... I wish I could make them into 'satay'.. miss that taste.. yum yum~~~

Rabbits are also used in biomethodology. Actually, rabbits are used more often than the white mice in research studies due to some of its advantageous criteria such as their skin. Rabbits are often used in dermatology test, drug test and skin burn test. Of course, they are also used in other various tests as well. (You will not like to imagine what happen to them during the tests...) Some people proposed that every research centre that uses rabbits should build rabbit statue as to honour their scarifices. Well, I support the idea. It inspires me to get a rabbit doll for my sister after I 'satay' her rabbits. Evil me... XD

my first try

Everyone should have the first try on something... Well, this is the first time I blog!!! I would not limit myself on a particular topic at particular time using particular language since I don't really have particular interest. ( but you do notice that I do use particular word right? ok, I admit it, i like the word 'particular'.. ) I may not writing long-winded informative stuff because I have named my blog 'random-ish' ( = random stuffs going on my mind ).. It may be gurls stuffs, current issues, interesting thingy, food... who knows~~~
